What to do with Kids in Pembrokeshire?
Pembrokeshire is a great place for kids to holiday. And I mean kids, both young & old!
The beaches-more than enough beaches for every type of activity. Right on your doorstep is Milford Beach, great for a walk and some rock pool exploration at low tide.
There’s more to do than days you have to visit, I guarantee you that!
On Your Doorstep
Within walking distance of the apartment, there is Milford Museum, a great interactive museum that’s both informative, educational and fun. A little further on is Phoenix Bowl, a ten pin bowling alley with a softball play and Pizzaria
A walk up the hill into Milford Haven will take you to the Torch Theatre, a theatre, cafe and Pembrokeshire’s only 3D cinema.
If golfing is your thing, then Milford Haven Golf Course is only a two minute drive away and visitors are very welcome.
Always check out Milford Waterfront’s calender of activities as here you will find the things going on at the Waterfront, only a few steps away.
Fancy some sand? Then head to Sandy Haven, just outside Milford Haven-brilliant for the age old art of ‘crabbing’ on Stepping Stones bridge at low tide, and just the right consistency of sand for making the BEST sand castles! Keep an eye out for beach art here, as Jon Foreman, Beach artist is often here creating sand art and stone art-fantastic pieces that are only there until the tide washes them away again.
Looking for a beach with cafes, fish & chips or a bar? Then head to Broad Haven- a great expanse of beach at a low tide, brilliant for water sports, and there’s nothing nicer than eating a bag of chips on the wall overlooking the beach after a days’ fresh sea air.
They are your most local beaches, but there are many, many more and all with their own identities to enjoy.
Looking for more action?
For Water sports, you can try Haven Sports at Broad Haven
A Boat Trip, at Milford Waterfront or go see the Puffins on Skomer Island with Dale Sailing & Pembrokeshire Island Boat Trips
